Weekend in the Fens

Hi everyone. I got back to my Cambridge apartment last night after a weekend in Fenway with my human friend Scott. He was watching me while Mary Beth was in Chicago visiting Dori and Bella. She had a good time experiencing a new city and already put her photos on Facebook for you to check out. Quite honestly, I was underwhelmed by the album because the photos did not feature anything except buildings and pizza. The photo of the giant, shiny bean was cool, I guess. I miss Bella and was hoping to see her in some of the photos, but it's okay because I'll see her in just over a month back in Cambridge!!!

While MB was busy taking pictures of buildings, I was busy taking long walks in the neighborhood around Fenway Park and soaking up Scott's AC in the summer heat. I managed to sneak quite a bit of goose poop by the river before he noticed too, but after he saw me we started taking a different route in the park. Bummer! Other highlights from the weekend included "learning" how to shake and working out. Scott was disappointed that I did not learn how to shake successfully, but little does he know I actually know several secret handshakes that I was just not willing to show him quite yet. Working out consisted of me motivating Scott to do push ups by barking in his face as encouragement. A visit from Scott's friend and classmate Emily rounded out the weekend. She says I look much better with my summer haircut. Look out ladies!

When we got back to Cambridge last night I was way tired and have been pretty much relaxing and napping since. I did catch a few episodes of "Jon and Kate Plus 8," which I was pleasantly surprised about. Some of those sextuplets had me fooled as little puppies in a few scenes. What I don't understand is why is the show such a big deal? I mean, I was a triplet and I don't see any cameras around here. I guess I'll have to keep watching to find out.
